About Keith Higgins

Prior to opening his own practice, he worked as a prosecuting attorney in the District Attorney’s Office for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit for more than 22 years. This experience provided him with valuable knowledge and unique insight to our legal system which now allows him to excel in your representation. With more than 33 years of experience as a lawyer, Keith has the ability to resolve a case with a negotiated agreement when possible and the ability to try a criminal case when an acceptable agreement cannot be reached.
During his legal career, he has gained valuable knowledge and insight into how his opponents are likely to evaluate and try a criminal case. For more than 20 years, Keith worked as a prosecuting attorney in the District Attorney’s Office for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit. This experience provided him with valuable knowledge about police procedures, and he is uniquely qualified to know how a prosecutor will evaluate a criminal case and when a prosecutor may not be willing to go to trial. In the event of a criminal trial, he knows the tactics and strategies that a prosecutor is likely to use.
